The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner facility is now reopen to the public.
Business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.
Please be advised that due to the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department is enforcing strict health protocols to maintain staff and visitor safety, including:
-All staff and visitors must wear a face mask
-The main lobby can have no more than 6 people at a time
-Only 2 visitors per family
-Guests must maintain physical distancing
To pick up the property of your loved one, please schedule an appointment with the Personal Property Section at (323) 343-0515. Appointments are available Monday-Thursday, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
If you or someone in close contact with you has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 10 days, rather than coming to our facility in person, please contact our office by phone.
