Cause and Manner of Death Determined for Bryan Bostic 150 150 County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner

May 28, 2026 – The County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner (DME) determined the cause and manner of death for 37-year-old Bryan Bostic as the effects of methamphetamine. The manner of death is accident.

According to reports, around 21:25 hours on March 10, officers from the Inglewood Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Mr. Bostic. The officers observed drug paraphernalia in Mr. Bostic’s car, and a physical altercation occurred between Mr. Bostic and the officers trying to take him into custody. Emergency medical services (EMS) personnel were called to the scene to check on Mr. Bostic and medically cleared him before officers transported him to the Inglewood Police Department station. Upon arriving at the station, officers found Mr. Bostic unresponsive in the patrol vehicle and resuscitation efforts began. EMS paramedics responded and death was pronounced at 22:15 hours. A clear plastic baggie with an unknown substance was found in Mr. Bostic’s mouth.

On March 12, a deputy medical examiner conducted an examination of Mr. Bostic at the DME’s Forensic Science Center. The cause and manner of death were certified May 28.
